Güglingen: Art in Public Spaces and Roman Traces

Güglingen combines art in public spaces with Roman history, special cultural venues and routes to explore on foot or by bike. More than 40 works of art from different eras can be discovered in the town center. The range extends from reliefs dating back to Roman settlement to contemporary works; the town itself thus becomes a place to encounter art.

Güglingen outdoor swimming pool has a combination pool with a diving area and 1- and 3-meter diving boards, a 10-by-25-meter swimming pool with four lanes, and a non-swimmer area with 788 square meters of water surface. It also has three massage jets, two water cannons, a mushroom fountain and a wide slide approximately 3 meters wide and 16 meters long. At the Güglingen wine fountain, red and white wine can be drawn from the fountain figure into a specially designed glass during official town or association events, private celebrations and group excursions. Güglingen has ten designated motorhome pitches in the car park south of the outdoor swimming pool, accessed via Eibensbacher Straße toward “Kreuzgärten.” They are available free of charge year-round, with a maximum stay of five days.
