Klein Labenz is closely connected to Lake Groß Labenz: the lake lies between Klein Labenz, Groß Labenz and Weiße Krug. At about 2.5 kilometres long, 1.4 kilometres wide and roughly 262 hectares in area, the lake is a defining feature of the surrounding area.
