The approximately 36-kilometre Cycling Route 9 runs from Ganzlin via Retzow, QuaĂźlin, Wahlstorf, DarĂź, Karbow, VietlĂĽbbe, Wangelin and Gnevsdorf, then back to Ganzlin. It runs almost parallel to the MarienflieĂź nature reserve. Along the way, the route repeatedly offers lovely views of the Gehlsbachtal nature reserve, which is considered a feeding ground for grey herons and black storks.
In the wider destination of Ganzlin, you can explore the country lanes around Buchberg, as well as those through the Retzower Heide and MarienflieĂź, on foot or by bike. Compared with the approximately 15-kilometre loop that passes Buchberg, Route 9 is the longer option, at around 36 kilometres.
