One tour starts and finishes in town; the other has its starting point at the tourist information office.
The “Rhin Tour towards Havelberg/Elbe” starts in Fehrbellin and follows the Rhin Canal towards Havelberg. Motorboat users can approach Fehrbellin via the Old Rhin, moor at the Bollwerk, come ashore and continue with a stroll around town. The “Rhinluch Loop” offers a five-kilometre detour through Fehrbellin; during the season, canoe trolleys are available at the weirs. Alongside the water tours, there are also ways to combine a stay with a stroll around town.
Park and architectural history
The Electors’ Park is a protected historic park. At its centre is the monument to the Elector, which has already been extensively restored. It provides a historic point of reference when exploring the town.
Fehrbellin town church is 41 metres high and Neo-Gothic in style. It was built to plans by Friedrich August Stüler and bears the hallmark of the royal Prussian architect. Cyclists also encounter this building on the “Around Fehrbellin” tour.
